Welcome to Dolly Davis, Agile’s new Sales and Marketing Manager
Last month Agile welcomed their newest member of the team Dolly, who joins us as Sales and Marketing Manager. As well as working on developing new business, she will also be responsible for account management, ensuring our clients are happy.
We asked Dolly a few questions, to get to know her better.
Dolly, tell us a little bit about your career to date.
I have almost 20 years experience working in sales, most of which was in recruitment or advertising.
In my most recent role prior to joining Agile, I was Client Engagement Manager for a Recruitment Consultancy which involved business development, social media and website marketing as well as lots of networking.
Why did you make the move to Agile Technical Solutions?
Having been made redundant from my previous role I wanted to move away from recruitment and look for a role within another service-based industry. For me, one of the most important factors was to find a business that cared about their clients with a strong focus on honesty and collaboration, and Agile really felt like a good fit.
What does a typical day as Sales and Marketing Manager at Agile look like?
It’s early days and I’m still finding my feet a little, but so far the role is very varied and can involve anything from business development and client meetings to preparing marketing materials and networking.
But ultimately at the heart of it all is ensuring clients, both existing and new understand our services and are well looked after throughout.
What do you enjoy most about your new role?
As well as the variety and a great team, I love getting out and meeting people and telling them all about how we can help them. It’s also great to just get stuck straight in to a new role.
What do you bring to the team at Agile?
As well as experience, I think I’m really good at picking things up and just getting on with it. I’m also a real people person and a good communicator. And I also make great cakes.
What do you do when you’re not at work?
With 2 children and 4 step children and a highly strung labradoodle, a lot of my time is spent running around after them. I am also a dance mum, so most evenings and weekends are spent at dance classes, competitions or shows (and I even get chance to dance myself sometimes).
If I’m not at a dance class, I enjoy a trip to the theatre or an evening with friends and a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc.
