Redesigning IT systems
When we were first introduced to Griffin Chapman, their IT system at the time was causing more challenges than it was resolving.
As a business, they were seeing a gradual decline in the reliability of their network.
Working closely with Michael, an Associate with Griffin Chapman, we created a solution that would be the best fit for the business.

Eliminating downtime
Our first step was to redesign Griffin Chapman’s IT system and decommission the existing server set-up.
Working closely with Michael to understand the needs of the business, we replaced the existing servers and introduced a redundancy solution using Hyper-V replication. In the event of their main server losing connection, their entire system fails over to a replica server to provide business continuity. This means as a business, downtime is never a concern.
We also had to move quickly to identify and install a new IT security solution. Their existing IT security products were coming up for renewal and were not providing the best value for money.
After careful consideration, we identified a complete Unified Threat Management security solution. This included Gateway Anti-Malware, Anti-Virus protection, Intrusion Prevention, Content Filtering and encrypted VPN protection.
Within a couple of weeks of starting work with Griffin Chapman, the security solution was ordered, configured and installed at their Colchester office. The previous solution was then decommissioned and removed from the network.
Since 2016, we have continued to provide strategic IT consultancy and IT Support to Michael and the team. The key to our relationship is trust – trust that we recommend IT solutions that take account of their exact business needs.
